Angela Estrella Mejía is a published & award winning multimedia artist, graphic designer, photographer, and content creator, born and raised in Chicago. Her love for photography and the arts stemmed from the city's vibrant culture and diverse neighborhoods; From the architecture, public transportation, and diversity in people, art, food and music, the inspiration became endless, so in 2008 she launched AngieStar Studios to capture it all professionally. From that point on, she’s exhibited work in galleries around the city, has been published and featured in both print and online media, is continually involved in several public speaking engagements and mentorship positions, and shoots an array of work on many levels.
Recently, her talents have grown into Graphic Design, furthering her Visual Communications expertise as a Social Media, E-Commerce builder, and Marketing Manager for cultural brands around the city. Her unique perspective and artistic flare with branding and digital marketing in focus, sets her apart as a true “Creativepreneur” (Creative Entrepreneur).
What started as a passion to illuminate culture and the inner city lifestyle turned into a career in Visual Communications that continues to flourish today.
